Look at any stereo gear from the 60's
and 70's and you'll find these switches, now mostly absent from todays gear.
Just the touch of a button reverses the sound stage, or selects just left or
right only, or perhaps you need a true mono combination. What once was, is now
available again with the KAB Souvenir DRX jr.Use the DRX to expand one input into two. Works equally well with line or phono level. The signal processing is achieved using a custom interlocked switch array. Interconnections are via gold plated RCA Jacks. Fully isolated grounding prevents ground loop hum. The DRX jr is passive. No power is Required. |

SPECIFICATIONS

The DRX jr provides signal control and
expands one input into two independent inputs. Grounds are totally isolated so
the DRX jr can be used for line level and phono too. Connects to any tape loop
or use to expand a phono or auxiliary input. The Drx Jr features separate, isolated left and right signal grounds. Further, the chassi and circuit board grounds are isolated. A separate binding post on the back lets you bring the chassi ground to the common system ground, thus minimizing ground loop hum. |

The really great features to take note of with the KAB Souvenir DRX Jr. are, I believe, the uniqueness and build quality. The ability to gain quick access to these individual signals and to reverse the direction of the stereo soundstage is a requirement in many professional and hobby applications. Vintage enthusiast will find the left/right/mono selections indispensable in getting the best sound from those worn 78's. Stereo enthusiasts will find the Stereo Reverse selector invaluable in correcting the soundstage presentation. |
